Research

The Astrophysical dust group addresses the science of dust in the solar system, with a main focus on interstellar dust in the solar system and in our local interstellar neighbourhood, the heliosphere, and astrospheres. We use computer simulations and data collected by in situ by spacecraft and we are involved in several space missions or mission studies that collect such data. We are also involved in laboratory calibration of dust instruments, and maintain collaborations with researchers and groups within Switzerland and abroad.
