Veerle Sterken has been honored to receive the external page Belgian Christophe Plantin prize 2021. This prize is given every year to a Belgian living abroad, who is not well known yet in Belgium but who has contributed in a significant way to social, cultural or scientific activities. She received the prize on 25 October 2021, by the governor of Antwerp.
