We participated actively in the 3rd Interstellar Probe Exploration workshop with a poster and in many of the discussions.
New publication - Joint Europa Mission (JEM)

A paper titled “Joint Europa Mission (JEM): a multi-scale study of Europa to characterise its habitability and search for extant life” has been published, showing a mission concept that was developed for flying to the Jovian Moon Europa.

The paper on “The challenge of identifying interstellar meteors” was published (open access), to which the Astrophysical dust group has contributed.
Welcome to Silvan Hunziker in the Astrophysical Dust Group

Silvan Hunziker has successfully defended his PhD thesis in July, and will now join the Astrophysical Dust Group to support its activities in particular for the processing of the interstellar dust dynamics simulation results, predictions for missions, and comparison with spacecraft data.
Collaboration with the NCCR PlanetS

End of May, the board of the NCCR PlanetS has approved the project “The Heliosphere and the dust, characterisation of the solar and interstellar neighborhood” as an associated project (1.8) to the NCCR PlanetS.
